Elegant wedding ceremony with guests

Weddings and vow renewals

A ceremony as unique as your love

No two couples are the same. Why should your ceremony be?

What makes a ceremony truly extraordinary?

Every unforgettable ceremony begins long before a single word is written. It starts with getting to know you.

Before we talk about readings, vows or music, I want to understand the two of you. How you met. The life you've built together. The people who matter most. What makes you laugh, what you've overcome, what you love and admire about each other, and maybe what drives you both a little crazy.

Because that's where the magic lives.

Only when I truly understand your relationship do I begin writing a ceremony that couldn't possibly belong to anyone else.

Every ceremony is written from scratch and shared with you throughout the planning experience, so nothing comes as a surprise on the day (unless we've secretly gathered a few stories from your family and friends!) Together we'll refine every detail until it feels completely authentic to you.

By the time your wedding day arrives, I won't simply be the person standing at the front with you. I'll be someone who knows your story, understands what matters most to you, and can guide you both through the ceremony with warmth, calm reassurance and genuine joy.

THE PLANNING EXPERIENCE

How we create your ceremony

01

The first conversation

We begin with a relaxed discovery conversation, by video or in person. A chance for you to tell me your story and your vision for the wedding day. Plus you get the opportunity to ask me anything you want!

02

Confirming your date

If, after our conversation, you'd like me to be part of your wedding day, you'll simply need to complete a short booking form and pay your deposit. I'll then lock your wedding date in my diary, and our journey together can begin.

03

Getting to know you

I'll send you a questionnaire to complete (it's interesting and fun, I promise!) and, if you're based in the UK, I'll arrange a face-to-face catch-up with you (ideally over wine, coffee, lunch or dinner) to delve into the details. I'll also be available on WhatsApp, email and by phone whenever you want to get in touch about anything.

04

Crafting your ceremony

I'll then take the time to start writing and choreographing your ceremony. I usually write scripts from my little weaver's cottage in Bradford-on-Avon, from my local coffee shop or at my co-working space which has gorgeous countryside views. Depends on my mood that day!

05

Your ceremony run-through

We meet in-person or online to walk through the ceremony together so you know exactly what to expect. This is where the nerves should settle and the excitement takes over. Following this meet up, I’ll share a mood book with a link to your script to look through together (maybe over a glass of wine and some snacks!) I also offer vow and speech delivery coaching, if that’s something you need support with.

06

Your wedding day

On the day itself, I arrive early, calm, and completely prepared. I spend some time with the other suppliers (photographer, wedding planner, florist, musician) before the ceremony begins, guiding you through every moment so you can be fully present and relaxed. Additionally, I can offer on-day coordination - let's chat if that's something that might be of interest to you.

"I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our day spectacular! You set the tone and started the party in the right way. All day I had so many of our friends and family singing your praises — I wish you could have heard it all. Very very grateful for all the time and effort you put in to capturing our story. It was perfection xx"

And if you'd like me to look after more than the ceremony…

Wedding Coordination

You've planned it. Now let someone else run it.

You've chosen the venue, booked the suppliers and made what feels like a thousand decisions. When your wedding day arrives, you should be enjoying it - not checking timelines, answering supplier questions or wondering whether everything is happening when it should.

Alongside celebrancy, I offer wedding coordination for couples who have planned their own day but want someone experienced to take responsibility for bringing it all together. As a regular Function Manager for Bath's Historic Venues, I'm very used to keeping things on track behind the scenes - anticipating what needs to happen, solving problems before they reach you and making sure everyone knows where they need to be.

On-the-Day Coordination

For couples who've planned everything and want to be guests at their own wedding.

I'll get to know your plans beforehand, liaise with your key suppliers and take responsibility for the running of the day itself - from set-up and timings to those inevitable little things nobody planned for.

So instead of managing your wedding, you can simply be at it.

Final Months Coordination

You've done the planning. Now you're ready to hand it over.

Typically beginning two to three months before your wedding, I'll take over the final details: supplier communication, timelines, logistics and making sure everything you've planned comes together beautifully.

Then, on the day itself, I'll be there to run it - leaving you free to enjoy the wedding you've spent so long creating.

Suddenly realised you need some help?

Sometimes it's only as the wedding gets closer that you realise you don't actually want to be the person answering supplier questions, watching the clock or making sure the cake has arrived.

If your wedding is only weeks, or even days, away, it's always worth asking. If I'm available, I'll do my very best to help.

Looking for someone to plan your wedding from the beginning or planning a large-scale wedding? I also work alongside some excellent full-service wedding planners and would be very happy to recommend people I know and trust.

Ready to begin?

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives my complete attention. If you'd like to talk about your ceremony, I'd love to hear from you.
